Finnish duo Jaako & Jay make lo-fi acoustic punk, relying on a mic, a battered guitar, and a snare/ride setup. With this, they've toured their home country and the rest of Europe almost constantly. They released their début album War of Noise in 2010 on Xtra Mile before continuing to travel in their motor home and play to whoever shows up. They even joined Mariachi el Bronx, the mariachi alter-ego of LA punk rock band The Bronx, DIY suits them fine, and until they've trashed their minimal gear and transport completely, it's unlikely anyone will stop them.
