Mull Historical Society

Colin MacIntryre recorded three albums between 2001 and 2004 under the name Mull Historical Society, two of which reached the top 20 and bore four top 40 singles. Colin has received various accolades, including the Glenfiddich 'Spirit of Scotland' award for Scotland's Top Creative Talent. After two albums under his own name, and touring with Elbow, The Strokes, and REM, Mull Historical Society's fourth album, and first on Xtra Mile, City Awakenings, revived the moniker and Colin's creative drive. Breezy pop, vast soundscapes and minimalist doodles all sprung to life on the 2012 release, bringing Mull back into the public consciousness. Colin is currently writing more songs for another Mull Historical Society album, due in 2014.
