My Vitriol

Making a huge impact with their début album Finelines, My Vitriol are remembered for the huge fuzz-slathered melodies that shook radios and televisions for two years at the beginning of the millennium. The singles Cemented Shoes, Always: Your Way, and Grounded remain nostalgic hits, while hints of new material with 2007's A Pyrrhic Victory EP, their first release on Xtra Mile as well as the first new songs since 2002, kept their promised but elusive second album in the minds of everyone who ever threw their arms up at every chorus during a festival slot or moshed to Losing Touch at a sold out show. Whatever comes next, these handful of songs remain firm rock favourites with pretty much anyone who hears them.
