Do you listen to demos? How do I get signed to Xtra Mile Recordings?
We no longer accept physical demos as we think it would be good for bands to save some money. Please email us links to your recordings posted on your Myspace, or those hosted on your bands own website. Email links to demos@xtramilerecordings.com. Please only send one email inquiry regarding your recordings, and we will contact you if we are interested.
Payment – yep, we like that!
We love to accept payment via www.PayPal.com but sometimes people have trouble paying via PayPal in our store (we are trying to get this fixed!) – you can also try to pay direct in your PayPal account to Charlie@xtramilerecordings.com that often works, just remember to put a note in of what it is you are ordering!
CUSTOMERS IN THE UK - If you choose to pay by cheque please make it payable to Xtra Mile Recordings and write your order number or a note with the cheque. We have to wait until the cheque has cleared in our account before sending the order. It takes about 5 working days.
EVERYONE - We also accept online payments into our bank account and international transfers, drop us a line for details.
Posting & Delivery
We will send CDs pretty much anywhere in the world. All orders are posted 1st class Royal Mail the next day of receiving payment. We can send packages recorded (signed for) delivery at an extra cost.
Orders are posted between Monday & Friday except for bank holidays.
Please remember that your package may not fit into your letterbox, your post-person should put a note through your door so you can collect it at your local sorting office.
International customers will be responsible for all customs, duties and tax charges, which may vary from country to country. You may also be subject to a surcharge by the Postal Services for the handling of your order through customs and/or for addresses outside of their standard delivery area. Xtra Mile Recordings has no control over these charges and they are not included in our Product or Shipping and Handling fees.
Refunds & Exchanges
Xtra Mile Recordings will happily accept returns/exchanges of any defective merchandise within 30 days of date of purchase. For items returned after 30 days from the date of purchase, an Xtra Mile Recordings.com credit will be issued for the purchase price. Please note that Xtra Mile Recording is not responsible for items damaged in transit.
Please to remember: If we have not received payment within 14 days after you placed your order, we will cancel the order. It will help us keep on top of our stock!
You can cancel your order up to any point UNTIL your order has been posted from our office. Up until then you can cancel/change your order.
We cannot accommodate requests for credit on orders that have been refused by the recipient or are undeliverable because of an incorrect address.
I have questions regarding my order, who do I contact?
Email orders@xtramilerecordings.com with any XMR.com inquiries and we will contact you as soon as possible during the working week. Remember to add you name, order number, mailing address, and email address.
I am a label/vendor/band and I would like to sell my stuff through your webstore.
