Since 1997, Against Me! has toured incessantly and released albums on respected labels No Idea Records and Fat Wreck Chords. Their relationship with Xtra Mile Recordings began with the re-release of White Crosses in 2011. Their sixth album, Transgender Dysphoria Blues, from 2014, deals with gender identity disorder, love and loss, all of which singer Laura Jane Grace has dealt with. With publications like Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Time, Rock Sound, Kerrang!, Pitchfork, and Noisey (VICE) all featuring the album prominently in their 2014 end of year lists, they've punched a significant niche into the rock landscape showing the last 17 years have been anything but wasted. They finally released their first live album, 23 Live Sex Acts, in 2015 as they continue to define their legacy, and Laura Jane Grace proves herself to be one of the most important rock musicians in the public eye this decade.
