Having toured intimidatingly far and wide off his own back, Rob Lynch came to XMR in 2014 to release his debut album All These Nights In Bars Will Somehow Save My Soul capturing the huge pop hooks and serious talk his songs swerve between. It's difficult to ensnare such disparate intentions, but his first album grabbed them in tracks like 'My Friends & I' and 'Whiskey'. In 2016, Rob released Baby, I'm A Runaway, his second full-length album with a full-band of friends and cohorts. Capturing that same balance of positive energy and life strain in a rollercoaster of a record, Rob Lynch toured with a full band throughout 2016. After a hiatus, he returned in 2018 with two new, stripped-back singles: 'Red Lion Square' and 'Baby, I'm Not A Runaway Anymore', returning to familiar topics that have fuelled him well in the past and hitting poignancy perfectly. With a third album on its way, Rob's music is the perfect pep-talk for when you're not feeling your best and need a little burst of hope.
