Sonic Boom Six are an explosive and outspoken five-piece rock band from Manchester, UK described by Kerrang! as "taking ska, pop, grime, dubstep, punk and metal apart, then rebuilding them as a hyperactive hybrid". With a live show known for "clashing activism and good times", SB6 play firmly for the dance-floor while retaining enough power and aggression to be an active fixture of the UK's rock scene. The Boom’s influences include The Specials, The Streets, and The Prodigy while sounding absolutely nothing like any of them. They signed with Xtra Mile and released their self-titled fourth album in 2012, ten years since their humble beginnings. They went on to play 2000Trees festival and release a number of singles from the record in 2013 and touring with hyperactive glo-stick thrashers, Hadouken!. Since going independent, they've released crowdfunded fifth album, The F-Bomb continuing to grow from strength to strength.
