Glasgow rockers Stapleton have played with the best, from Karate and Bluetip to The Dismemberment Plan and Les Savy Fav. That was just in their early years. In 2001 and after, they played shows with Hundred Reasons, Idlewild, Snow Patrol, Pedro the Lion,The Weakerthans, Q and Not U, Lungfish, and Burning Airlines. They released four albums, the last on Xtra Mile released in 2008 after their hiatus in 2006. Rest and Be Thankful continued their chiming, melodic guitar pop, before all the members moved on to pastures new including Avast!, Metronomes, Happy Particles, and Elements of the Seventies.
